 Sassenpoort in Zwolle * One more tradition, a meeting with my close friend Nellie. We know each other now for almost 50 years, from the time that we were freshmen at the Free University in Amsterdam. This time we met in Zwolle, one of the former Hanseatic towns, about halfway between Amsterdam and Friesland, where she lives. The Sassenpoort was built as part of the city wall and dates back to the end of the 14th century. | ||
