Kathmandu and surroundings

Kathmandu, Patan, Bhaktapur, Dhulikhel, March 2017 - From the end of the 15th century until 1769 three kingdoms existed in the Kathmandu valley: Kathmandu, Patan and Bhaktapur, all reigned by a member of the Mulla dynasty. Each of the kings had their own durbar (court). Therefore each of these towns has a Durbar Square, where the royal palace and temples are situated.
