Siang Hui, who is a real waterfall hunter, had discovered a new waterfall near Kerling and was willing to bring Teoh and me to this fall, named Batu Bertengkek by him. We went on 18 December 2011, it was only a short hike, with a steep scramble doen to the river.

There is a smaller fall first before you reach the impressive main fall, which is thundering down in a narrow gorge.

A few weeks later, on 14 January 2012, I came back to show the fall to Aric and Jim, a Canadian friend.
