On 25 February 2016 Aric and I travelled to Perlis to visit a waterfall. Perlis has limestone hills, good for caves but not for waterfalls. However, there is a waterfall in the recreational foest of Bukit Ayer, north of Kangar.We visited the park and found that the waterfall had no water, but quite nice flowstones.

The park has facilities and a pool

But the waterfall had no water!

The next year, 15 September 2017 we made a trip up North, mainly to take drone videos of fishing villages. But the weather was dismal, remnants of a typhoon caused heavy downpours. We dicided to have another look at the Bukit Ayer waterfall. What a difference it was.
