On 7 July 2004, Aric and I, on our way back from the Cameron Highlands, decided to visit the Gepai waterfall, near Bidor. Access is easy, there is a carpark, it is a popular waterfall.

At the right side of the fall you can climb up and reach an upper tier.

The water is forced down through this narrow channel.

The upper fall has a nice pool too, and is less crowded.

On 28 March 2010, Rani and I joined Harry to look for waterfalls in the Bidor region, We started at the Gepai fall, but did not even take pictures there. After a long hike we reached the Upper Gepai fall. Our final destination was Lata Jala

The Upper Gepai fall

A few months later, 22 August, I visited Lata Jala again, this time with Rani and Richard. On our way back we met locals who said there was another waterfall around. We followed them, it turned out to be the Gepai Fall.
