In my first waterfall year I visited several waterfalls with Khong and/or Edward. The first trip with both of them was on 23 March 2003 to the remote Kijang Fall. Supposedly the tallest waterfall in West-Malaysia. It is indeed a tall waterfall, but no pool, so we only stayed a short time to take pictures.

Half a year later, I came back with Stephen and two of his friends, KcLiew and Elaine. I wrote a more detailed report about this trip, Kijang and Titi.

In 2008 I came in contact, through my Waterfalls of Malaysia website, with Joe Yap, very interested in waterfalls. For a "maiden trip", Khong and I brought her to the Kijang fall. Some development had taken place, a few shelters had been built.

The next year, during CNY, I made a waterfall trip with Paul and his friend Karl. After Kijang we also visited the Sg Dua waterfalls. A tree had fallen down and blocked the access road, so we had to walk the last part to the fall.

I came back in November 2010 with Joe Yap. This time to inspect the situation at the waterfall because WoM visitors had reported that heavy downpour and a flash flood had done a lot of damage. It was even worse than we expected.

There was a lot of damage, although the waterfall itself was still there in all its glory.
