In March 2011 my friend Joe Yap and I visited the Suka Suka resort, where I had enjoyed the hospitality of Aziz and Asiah many times already. Would there be an "unknown" waterfall be nearby? Sure, Jeram Berembun, Asiah replied. She arranged a guide to this fall and on 16 March 2011 we started our hike.
